On 4,5 December 2025, in Chengdu (China) Dr Jacek Skiba, at the invitation of the Chinese side, took part in the 21st International Symposium on CBM/CMM in China, organised by the Information Institute of the Ministry of Emergency Management (China Coal Information Institute).
After introducing profile and activities of Central Mining Institute–National Research Institute (GIG-PIB) of Katowice, (Poland) during keynote session Dr Skiba in his speech entitled: “Challenges for Effective VAM Utilization in Europe - Experience Gained in ProVAM Project” presented importance of project ProVAM with its main tasks and goals to be achieved.
The symposium was followed by site visit in Chengdu University of Technology State Key Laboratory of Oil and Gas Reservoir Geology and Exploitation and State Key Laboratory of Geohazard Prevention and Geoenvironment Protection.
2025年12月4日至5日，應中方邀請，雅切克·斯基巴博士於中國成都參加了由中國應急管理部信息研究所（中國煤炭信息研究所）主辦的第21屆中國國際CBM/CMM研討會。
在全體會議上介紹了卡托維茲主要礦業研究所——國家研究機構（GIG-PIB）的概況與活動後，斯基巴博士在演講中 在全體會議上介紹了卡托維茲礦業總局國家研究所（GIG-PIB）的簡介與活動後，斯基巴博士在題為 「歐洲有效運用VAM的挑戰——ProVAM專案的經驗」闡述了ProVAM專案的重要性及其主要任務與目標。
研討會結束後，與會者參觀了成都理工大學國家石油天然氣地質勘探與開發實驗室以及國家地質災害防治與地質環境保護實驗室。
