On 15 September 2016, Dr Eng. Jan Bondaruk and Dr Leszek Trząski attended the Science, Business and Environment Conference organized by the UNEP/GRID-Warsaw Centre in cooperation with the Centre for Innovation and Technology Transfer Management (CZIiTT), a part of the Warsaw University of Technology.
The conference was held in partnership with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). Its main aim was to present the condition of, threats to and changes in the pan-European region. The event was attended by over 150 people. The guests from abroad constituted a group of several dozen people including representatives of international organizations, ONZ departments and cooperating centres, research institutions, and global companies. An important and large group of participants were representatives of Polish businesses and representatives of local governments and public administration (ministries, central offices and environmental institutions). The conference was also attended by experts - representatives of: national and foreign universities, research centres and industry chambers and they were introduced in a highly informative way by Mrs. Maria Andrzejewska, Director of the UNEP/GRID-Warsaw Centre.
