The Polish delegation led by the Deputy Minister of National Assets Adam Gawęda with the participation of GIG Director Stanisław Prusek stayed in Japan from the 24th to the 27th of February this year coal use, which may also find. The delegation program included but was not limited to: a visit to Osaka at the Osaki CoolGen Corporation belonging to Chugoku Electric Power Co. Inc, which utilises an IGCC installation (integrated gasification combined cycle), as well as a meeting with Hiroaki Ishizuka, chairman of NEDO (New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization). NEDO is the largest Japanese public management organisation that promotes research and development in terms of industry, energy and environmental protection technologies.
The Polish delegation also visited the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and its subordinate Agency for Natural Resources and Energy. The delegation's visit was concluded with a meeting with Masamichi Hashiguchi, the managing director of Japan Coal Energy Center.
