On 24 July 2026, as part of the implementation of the SEDAS – Safe and Effective Decommissioning of Arch Supports project, a working meeting of selected consortium members was held, combined with field testing.
The tests were carried out at the proving ground of the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of Industrial Organic Chemistry, operated by the Explosive Technologies Research Group in Krupski Młyn. Representatives of our Research Group, the Central Mining Institute – National Research Institute (GIG-PIB), the Military University of Technology, and the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of Non-Ferrous Metals participated in the testing.
The objective of the trials was to verify the adopted assumptions regarding the performance of linear shaped charges and to determine the direction of further research and development activities. The results obtained provided valuable information that will be used to optimize the proposed solutions and to plan the subsequent stages of the project.
